Here are some top tips for finding the best deal on an Orlando hotel:
Decide where you are going to be spending majority of your time here in Orlando. Most guests, especially if they are going to be staying more than 5 nights will visit multiple theme parks such as Universal Studios and Disney World so you might want to look for a hotel near both these attractions or find a hotel which has free shuttle service to both attractions.
Book more than 90 days in advance. Orlando hotels start moving their rate depending upon the availability 90 days prior to arrival, by booking more than 90 days out you will get the best rate.
Stay during the week. The hotels in Orlando are near capacity almost every Friday and Saturday nights. If your schedule allows it, if you stay Sunday through Thursday, you could save yourself as much as 30% off the weekend nightly rate. Another great benefit of traveling to Orlando during the week, your Disney World Tickets will be cheaper as well and the lines at the parks will be a little smaller.
Book your travel to Orlando during mid or low season. Anytime kids our out of school (ie: Christmas, Spring Break, Easter, Summer Time etc) is high or Holiday season and the hotels in Orlando will charge a premium rate during these times. If you can travel during the off peak times, you can save as much as 40% on your Orlando hotel stay.
Look for value. Kids eat free program, free breakfast, free parking, free shuttle service. All these amenities help you save money.
